Studio Rules & FAQ

Protecting the space. Respecting the craft.

To ensure ViviComp Studios remains a top-tier, safe sanctuary for all creatives, we ask that all guests adhere to the following community guidelines:

The Golden Rules of the Studio

Your time is your time - including setup. Your rental block includes your load-in, setup, tear-down, and load-out. Please factor this in when booking your package to ensure you aren’t rushed and the next creative isn’t kept waiting.

Leave It As You Found It

We pride ourselves on a clean, inspiring environment. Please wrap cables, reset C-stands, and place all trash in the designated bins before your time expires.

Keep Liquids Away from the Magic

Food and drinks are welcome in our designated lounge area, but strictly prohibited near the camera equipment, lighting, and all other studio production equipment.

No Smoke or Fire

To protect our camera sensors and the building’s fire safety systems, the use of smoke machines, sparklers, or open flames is strictly prohibited.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • To protect both you and the studio, we require a standard Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing ViviComp Studios as a loss payee for rentals utilizing our high-end equipment (like the Blackmagic Cinema Cameras). Alternatively, a temporary credit card damage hold can be arranged prior to your session.

  • All ViviComp Studios equipment is for in-studio use only. This ensures our gear stays in pristine condition and is aways available for the creatives who have booked the space.

  • High-end gear can be intimidating! If you are unfamiliar with the equipment, you must hire one of our in-house professionals for your session. For the safety of the equipment, renters may not attempt to operate technical gear they are not trained to use.

  • We know that accidents happen on set. If a piece of equipment malfunctions or is damaged, please notify our studio manager immediately. Renters are financially responsible for the repair or replacement of any gear damaged due to negligence or misuse during their booked time.
